Application Scenarios

Product Description

A precision embossing roller transfers decorative or functional textures onto the surface of plastic sheet and board. It is suitable for PMMA and PC boards, PP sheet and other plastic materials used in lighting, interior decoration, leather-related products and automotive applications. Roller surfaces can be produced with a wide range of customer-specified patterns and surface effects.

JWELL converts the customer’s sample image into high-resolution digital data using laser electronic scanning and color-separation technology. The digital information is loaded into the engraving system to reproduce the required design on the roller surface. According to the supplied product data, the resulting roller pattern can achieve a simulation rate of more than 98%, helping manufacturers obtain a consistent visual finish on the processed sheet.

Sandblasting can also be applied according to the selected mesh size to create dull, matte, mist or rough surface effects. Multiple internal flow-channel designs help maintain uniform roller-surface temperature, supporting even pattern formation across the product width. Surface plating with a hardness of HRC60–62 improves wear resistance and extends the service life of the embossing roller.

Available roller-body materials include 45 steel, 38CrMoAl, 42CrMo, 60CrMoV and stainless steel, allowing the construction to be matched to process and durability requirements. Customers can provide a pattern sample, target finish, plastic material, roller dimensions and operating conditions so that the roller surface, internal flow channel and material specification can be configured for the intended production line.
