Produktbeschreibung*

The JWELL Bimetall-Schraubzylinder is designed for plastic extrusion and injection molding applications involving abrasive, corrosive or high-temperature materials. It combines precision-machined base materials with application-specific alloy protection to improve the durability of the screw and barrel working surfaces.

The screw uses advanced HP/HVOF full-surface thermal spraying instead of conventional PTA welding applied only to the screw-flight edges. This process creates a protective alloy coating across the working surface, helping reduce wear, corrosion and heat-related damage.

The bimetallic barrel is produced by centrifugal casting. Available tungsten carbide contents have been increased from the previous 10% specification to 30% and 50%. The alloy processing length can reach 4,000 mm, while the maximum effective component length is up to 12,000 mm.

Three alloy options are available:

  • WPT1: Corrosion-resistant alloy for nylon, PVC, PC and PMMA.
  • WPT2: Wear- and heat-resistant alloy for glass-fiber-reinforced nylon, magnetic powder, aluminum/magnesium powder and Bakelite.
  • WPT3: Combined resistance to wear, corrosion and elevated temperatures.

Available materials include SACM645, SCM440 and 38CrMoAlA. The product covers inner diameters from Φ12 to Φ300 mm, with nitriding hardness of at least HV960 and nitriding depth of 0.50–0.80 mm.

For accurate selection, please provide the machine model, processed material, screw dimensions, additive or glass-fiber content and operating temperature.
