Product Description
A melt gear pump installed in an extrusion line helps stabilize polymer delivery to the die. The supplied JWELL system measures pressure before the pump and uses PLC-based extruder-speed adjustment to reduce pulsation and irregular feeding. The result is an orderly melt stream that is continuously delivered downstream for more stable processing.
The documented pump is intended for metering and pressure boosting with both high- and low-viscosity polymers. Listed materials include PC, PMMA, ABS, PET, PVB, PS, PP, and PE. This broad compatibility supports selection for sheet, film, board, and packaging-related extrusion projects when the polymer and operating conditions fall within the engineered pump configuration.
The pump housing is made from high-quality alloy steel. Its gears use quenched chrome steel or another high-grade metallic material. These documented material choices are intended to support efficient operation and leakage resistance. Six source models cover nominal displacement from 30 to 400 cc per revolution, listed speed ranges from 20-100 to 20-70 rpm, output ranges from 30-150 to 400-1600 kg/h, and driving power from 3 to 22 kW.
For procurement, select the melt gear pump according to resin, viscosity, required output, inlet and outlet pressure, melt temperature, displacement, drive arrangement, and line interface. Confirm the exact control package, sealing configuration, dimensional drawing, and permissible pressure and temperature with JWELL engineering, because these values are not specified in the supplied document.
Applications and Selection Notes
Use only with the documented polymers and extrusion functions described above. Final selection requires confirmation of resin, output, temperature, pressure, filtration or layer requirements, and line interfaces.
