Product Description
A hydraulic screen changer with a single-piston structure is designed for pressurized, high-temperature polymer filtration in extrusion lines. The documented JWELL design uses a no-mechanical-seal structure intended to prevent melt leakage under these conditions while reducing screen-change resistance and the hydraulic system’s required working pressure.
Its one-piece body has no load-bearing gap, strengthening the pressure-bearing structure. The product uses high-quality alloy steel with nitriding treatment to extend service life, together with an integrated engineering hydraulic cylinder. A rheology-optimized honeycomb breaker plate is documented to reduce fluid shear during extrusion.
The unit includes an internal heating device and fully enclosed wiring. Six source models cover output from 50-100 kg/h to 450-1000 kg/h. Filter diameters range from 55 to 185 mm, filtration areas from 1,960 to 25,440 mm², and listed maximum pressure ranges from 40 MPa on the two smallest models to 25 MPa on the larger models. Each model has two heating zones, with heating power from 2.4 to 10 kW.
For procurement, specify the resin, expected output, filtration requirement, melt temperature and pressure, extruder interface, change frequency, and available installation height. Confirm hydraulic-station configuration, controls, flange dimensions, screen media, and operating limits with JWELL engineering. The source parameter values are reproduced for model comparison but should be verified on the final approved drawing.
