From October 26 to 28, 2026, two major industry gatherings ran side by side in Chuzhou, Anhui: the 2026 Annual Conference of the Profile and Applications Committee and the 2026 Annual Conference of the Sheet and Board Committee of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association (CPPIA), each paired with a technical exchange and business matchmaking program. Experts and upstream and downstream companies from the profile, sheet and board sectors met to discuss new processes, new equipment and market opportunities.

Industry Leaders Share Trends and Standards

The Profile and Applications Committee conference focused on lightweight profiles for passenger vehicles, the use of inorganic fillers in PVC, and the rollout of the updated GB/T 8814 national standard. Sessions addressed profile standard upgrades, innovation in automotive profiles, and PVC material modification—topics that sit at the center of current industry practice.
The Sheet and Board Committee conference covered AI-driven transformation for traditional enterprises, the committee’s work report and financial briefing, and exchanges on digital change and industry management.

Across both events, shared technical presentations highlighted directions of common interest, including the outlook for the PVC industry, equipment solutions for green building materials, large-width PE geomembrane production lines, extrusion technology for high-performance PEEK and PPS sheets, and sheet recycling equipment.
Factory Visits: JWELL Chuzhou and Quanjiao Bases

During the conference, delegates visited JWELL Machinery’s Chuzhou and Quanjiao intelligent manufacturing bases for on-site learning and a close look at advanced extrusion equipment manufacturing.
The Chuzhou base, located in the Chuzhou Economic Development Zone, is a key JWELL production hub focused on R&D and final assembly of complete extrusion lines for profiles, geomembranes and recycling pelletizing. The Quanjiao base, in the Shitan Industrial Park of Shizi Town, Quanjiao, specializes in precision dies, rolls, distributors and other core components, as well as high-end sheet, board, film and specialty-material lines. Together, the two sites form JWELL’s extrusion equipment cluster in eastern Anhui.

Technical teams walked attendees through equipment strengths, process fit and customized solutions, and answered questions on production challenges and upgrade needs—turning the visits into practical technical exchange.

The annual conference banquet was sponsored by JWELL Machinery and also served as a networking evening for the sheet, board and profile communities. Away from the formal agenda, industry colleagues compared production experience, discussed technical issues and explored cooperation along the value chain.
Next Stop: China International Plastics Exhibition in Nanjing
After the conferences closed, the delegation moved on to the Nanjing International Expo Center for the 2026 China International Plastics Exhibition (October 28–30). JWELL welcomes industry colleagues to visit booth C08 in Hall 6 for exchange and business discussions.

Looking Ahead
The dual CPPIA annual conferences provided a platform for technical exchange, shared experience and cooperation across the plastics extrusion industry. Looking ahead, the sector will continue to advance along greener, smarter and higher-end paths, deepen upstream–downstream collaboration, and drive upgrades through innovation. JWELL looks forward to working with partners across the industry to write the next chapter of high-quality development for plastics processing.
