Application Scenario

Product Description

The JWELL JWM series spinning extruder is designed for melt-spinning PET, PA6, PA66 and PP chips or flakes. The source states that thousands of JWM extruders operate in more than 700 chemical-fiber and nonwoven plants, a statement also repeated in current JWELL product literature.

An LTM low-temperature mixing element is incorporated in the screw design to support plasticizing performance and melt quality. Professional screw-and-barrel processing is described as providing high manufacturing accuracy and good straightness. The drive arrangement uses a high-precision helical gearbox with hardened, ground gears for stable, low-noise operation, together with a heavy-duty thrust bearing for axial load. Imported bearings and seals can be selected according to project requirements to support durability and maintenance planning.

The documented range covers screw diameters from Ø20 to Ø200 mm with a 25:1 L/D ratio. Maximum PET output extends from 6 to 1050 kg/h; PA6 values are listed through the Ø150 model, while larger rows are blank and have not been inferred. Drive power ranges from 2.2 to 220 kW, with 3–7 heating zones depending on model.

The electrical-control source notes RKC pressure and temperature instruments, internationally recognized inverter and low-voltage component brands, and optional connection to the customer’s main DCS for centralized control. Brand availability and final control architecture should be confirmed in the quotation. Provide the polymer, target output, screw size, utilities and plant-control requirements for model selection.
