PP/PE/PA6 Cold-Push Crawler Production Line
Low-temperature extrusion technology for high-quality thick boards and solid rods
As demand grows for plastic products with lower internal stress, improved flatness, cleaner surfaces, and less material waste, low-temperature cold-push extrusion is emerging as a highly effective solution for solid rods and thick boards.
Building on decades of extrusion expertise, JWELL integrates single-screw low-temperature plasticization, controlled tempering and shaping, servo-driven crawler haul-off, and precision cut-to-length processing into one continuous line. The system supports stable production across a broad diameter range of 5-300 mm. Haul-off speed, cutting length, and other operating parameters can be adjusted online, helping manufacturers reduce downtime and material waste when changing resins or product specifications.
Engineered for Diverse Applications
Compatible with PP, PE, and PA6 nylon, the line serves applications ranging from essential industrial components to high-performance products used in mechanical engineering, aerospace, automotive manufacturing, and prosthetics.

1. High Efficiency Low-Temperature Extrusion System

Extruder: The JWS50/28 dedicated single-screw extruder uses a screw geometry developed specifically for the cold-push process. It precisely controls the low-temperature plasticization of PP, PE, and PA6, helping prevent the yellowing that can occur when nylon degrades at excessive temperatures while maintaining stable, uniform output.
Temperature control and output: The barrel combines four-zone ceramic heating rated at 16 kW with fan cooling for dual temperature control. A hardened alloy-steel screw (at least HV740) works in precision with a honed barrel (at least HV940), keeping the melting window tightly controlled and reducing internal stress at the source. The line delivers 15-25 kg/h and accommodates cold-push boards up to 650 mm wide.
2. Precision Tempering & Shaping Process
Consistent quality across materials. A dedicated tempering and shaping plate with precise temperature control is tailored to the low-temperature forming behavior of PP, PE, and PA6 thick boards, supporting stable dimensions and excellent flatness.
Flexible product configurations. Available shaping plates include a 700 × 850 × 70 mm plate in 45# steel and a 1,700 × 850 × 70 mm aluminum-alloy plate. Approximately four heating zones align the shaping stage with extruder output. Multi-cavity dies with 16, 12, 10, 6, or 4 outlets support rods from 5 to 300 mm in diameter, while haul-off speed adjusts in real time to match extrusion flow.
Closed-Loop Continuous Production: Extrusion → Tempering & Shaping → Traction → Cutting
3. Dual Crawler Servo Traction Conveying System

Secure, surface-friendly conveying. Independent upper and lower Inovance servo drives (0.85 kW each) provide controlled traction. Steel-backed, wear-resistant silicone blocks grip products gently to help prevent scratching. Pneumatic clamping pressure can be adjusted through a regulator and pressure gauge for stable conveying across different product sizes.
Adjustable frame and synchronized control. The screw-lift frame has a lower haul-off center height of 1,050 mm and a 150 mm opening range, supporting rods from 5 to 300 mm in diameter. Maximum speed is 60 mm/min. The touchscreen and electrical cabinet provide dual control and synchronize the haul-off with the downstream cutting unit.
4. Auxiliary Feeding System
A 100 kg hot-air drying hopper removes moisture efficiently so raw materials meet processing requirements. A 100 kg/h vacuum loader then supplies material automatically under negative pressure, reducing manual loading frequency and enabling continuous operation. The compact integrated design also helps lower energy consumption and noise for a more operator-friendly workshop.
5. Precision Fixed-Length Cutting & Automatic Stacking Unit

A servo encoder measures length with a cutting tolerance within ±1 mm. The saw motor uses variable-frequency speed control, while a synchronized screw-lift cutting table handles boards up to 150 mm thick. A dedicated chip collection tray keeps the work area cleaner. After cutting, finished boards are conveyed automatically to an integrated stacking rack, reducing manual handling, increasing automation, and lowering labor costs.
